Guidelines for the Environment Issue
Toshiba Carrier Corporation, as development and manufacturing
bases of air conditioner for homes and offices, etc.,
will aim at contributing to the society through provision
of environmentally harmonized products and production
activity with consideration of reducing environmental
burden.

technologically and economically within our capability,

Quality Assurance Certification (ISO9001)
Toshiba Carrier Corporation has obtained the certification
of ISO 9001, the international standard of quality
control and quality assurance.
We are determined to work hard for even better quality assurance to maximize
satisfaction of our customers.
With this background, we are developing our products
on the theme of “energy-saving, environment-friendly
and healthy”. We believe that our compressor
technology such as the unique helical compressor, highly
energy-efficient DC twin rotary compressor and our
power electronics technology that controls inverter
power and speed are some of the best in the industry.
We are striving to become a leading company of a “comfortable
air space” providing the world with energy-saving
products that exploit our cutting-edge technology,
backed by the collaboration of Carrier Corporation

Implementation of Environmental Management (ISO14001)
Toshiba Carrier has its own Environmental Preservation
Manual in place that is in line with the international
standard ISO14001.
We utilize it to carry out the promotion plan, ensure
field management, and conduct internal environmental
audit, based on the environmental preservation activities,
in order to maintain and continuously improve
the Environmental Management System.
